Intake for every team

Incoming, sorted.

Forward the invoices, forms, emails and recordings your team receives. Avelin reads each one, marks where every value came from and asks a person only when it is unsure.

02What leaves, sorted

02How it worksHow it works

Four steps, every time

Every item takes the same path. Most go straight through; the rest wait for a person.

  1. Step 01

    Collect

Files, forms and messages arrive at one address, a watched folder or the API. Each item gets a reference and a place in the day’s stack.

  2. Step 02

    Read

Avelin reads each item with the template for its kind and marks where every value sits on the page.

  3. Step 03

    Check

Totals are added up and dates, names and codes are checked against your rules. Anything unclear waits for a person.

  4. Step 04

    Deliver

The checked result goes to your spreadsheet, system or folder, with the original attached and every mark kept.

Every value Avelin reads keeps a mark that shows exactly where it came from, so anyone can check it in a second.

  4. 04

A person sees only the values Avelin was unsure about, each beside the spot it came from, and confirms them in seconds.

Long inputs such as calls, interviews and email threads become short findings, each linked to the lines it came from.

Service emails become tickets

We used to start every morning by copying addresses out of emails. Now the tickets are already on the rota when we sit down.

Before you start

What counts as a document?

One file, form or message, however many pages it has. An email with three attachments counts as three documents. Duplicates of a file already read in the last 30 days are skipped.

What kinds of input can Avelin read?

PDFs, scans and photos, Office files, spreadsheets and CSV exports, emails, web forms and audio recordings. Recordings are transcribed first.

How accurate is it?

Accuracy depends on the input. Instead of a single figure, Avelin shows a confidence for every value and sends unsure values to a person, so nothing uncertain leaves without being checked.

Do I need to write code?

No. Templates, rules and outputs are set up in the workspace. The API is there for teams that want to send inputs from their own software.

Where is our data stored?

In the region you choose when you create the workspace. Inputs and results are encrypted at rest and in transit. See the security page for details.

From the journal

  • What a source mark is for

Why every value Avelin reads keeps a pointer to the spot it came from, and how teams use it.

  • Rules before reviewers

Most review time goes on values a rule could have checked. Start there.

  • Set up one output at a time

Teams that start with one input and one destination are reading live documents within a day.
