Check

Checks and rules

Totals are added up and dates, names and codes are checked against rules you set, before anything leaves Avelin.

01How it works
  1. Start with the built-in checks

Line items against totals, date formats, duplicate numbers and more.

  2. Add your own rules

Earliest and latest dates, allowed suppliers, amount limits.

  3. Anything that fails waits

The item goes to the review queue with the reason beside the value.

Most errors in intake are not misread characters but values that do not agree with each other: a total that does not match its lines, a start date before a signing date, a customer name spelled three ways.

Checks catch those before a person has to. Rules are written in plain fields, without code, and each one shows how many items it stopped in the last month.
