Source marks

Every value Avelin reads keeps a mark that shows exactly where it came from, so anyone can check it in a second.

Everyvalue keeps its mark

Draught marks painted in white on the bright blue hull of a ship, beside its anchor.
01How it works
  1. Read with a template

Each kind of input has a template naming the values to read.

  2. Mark the spot

Avelin stores the page, line or timestamp each value came from.

  3. Follow it anywhere

Open a record and select a value to see its source highlighted.

A source mark is the answer to the question every reviewer asks: where did this number come from? In Avelin it is never more than one click away, in the review queue, in the history and in every export.

Marks also make corrections faster. When a reviewer changes a value, the mark shows what the page said and the record keeps both.
