Month-end without surprises

How finance teams use checks and the review queue to close faster.

Journal

Month-end goes slowly when problems are found at month-end. The fix is to find them the day the invoice arrives.

Check on arrival

With line-item and duplicate checks on, an invoice that does not add up, or that was already paid, waits in the review queue on the day it lands, not on the last day of the month.

Close with a summary

A monthly summary output lists every invoice read, with totals by supplier and account and a count of values corrected. It becomes the starting point for the close rather than the end of it.
